Expanding Round Oak

5th Dec 2017

There is a growing demand for placements within SEND schools. We would like to ask Parents and Carers their views on expanding the number of places at Round Oak by an extra 28 students for the September 2018 intake.

There is a growing demand for placements within schools such as ours that can facilitate students with special educational needs and disabilities (also referred to as SEND).  The proposal is to provide places for an extra 28 students by September 2018

To meet the needs of additional pupils, should this proposal go ahead, the existing classrooms at Round Oak School will need to be altered. Funds have been identified for this by Warwickshire County Council.

The proposal has now reached the consultation process in which you are invited to express your views on these additional placements.

Parents and Carers of Round Oak School pupils can share their views and voice any concerns on the proposal until 12th January 2018, before any decisions are made.

You can express your views by:

Completing this online survey or you may prefer to email the County Council (consultations@warwickshire.gov.uk) or by writing to the County Council at:

Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education. It is greatly appreciated and working together can only make things better for everyone.
