The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) completed the two year transition period on 25 May 2018 and it is being written into a new Data Protection Act. GDPR contains a series of articles which guide us on how to treat the data we hold. This page and the PDFs will help you understand how and why we collect personal information about you and your child and what we do with that information.
Our Privacy Notice is the main document we publish which details the type of information we hold and how we process it. It explains the legal reasons behind what we do, who we share your information with, how we store and maintain this data. It also explains how you can find out what information we hold about you and your child and how you can contact us to discuss this data.
We publish separate Privacy Notices for Pupils, Parents and Carers, for Staff and for Governors as the data we hold and how it is processed differs for each of these groups. You can download these Privacy Notices below.
Subject Access Requests
Under GDPR you have the right to know what specific data the school holds about you or your child so you can be aware of the information we are processing and allow you to verify the lawfulness of the processing. You use a Subject Access Request to access this information and there is a form below which asks you for some contact information and what data you wish to find. You are not required to use this particular form to submit a Subject Access Request. Under most circumstances the school cannot charge you and must respond within one month of the request.
